Medir Bonachi Banús (Valls, 1986). He began studying music at age 5 with his hometown teachers Carmina Soler and Ignasi Soler. At age 15 went to study the Professional degree into Conservatori Professional de música de Vilaseca with Cecilio Tieles. Studied the bachelor degree in Escola Superior de Musica de Catalunya (ESMuC) with Adolf Pla obtaining the highest marks and a great success with its final work "Mompou, a universe of sound." He has participated in master classes with renowned performers, receiving advices from pianists as Christian Zacharias, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Paul Badura Skoda, Joseph Colom, Eva Graubin, Antoni Ros Marbà and others. In addition to interpretation as a soloist he extends his studies of chamber music with teachers like Mireia Pintó and Allan Branch, Francisco Poyato and Assumpta Mateu, Charles Tunnel, Keneddy Moretti and Luis Perez Molina. He has performed in concert halls such as the Teatre Principal de Valls or the  Barcelona's French institute. He formed several bands like the duo Cassadó and the trio Bartok, and has collaborated with the Vilaseca's chamber orchestra, the JONC, the Vallès Symphony Orchestra and the Terrassa 48 Chamber Orchestra . With the last one participated in the  recording of the CD "Music of Ricard Lamotte de Grignon and Eduard Toldrà". Has also recently recorded the CD "Esther sings Christmas", accompanying the soprano Esther Martinez-Vila with which he has established a duo that performs concerts throughout the Catalan territory.
